School-Based Social Worker

Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and qualified School Social Worker to join our network of professionals providing dedicated services to students across educational settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work within school systems and a passion for supporting the mental, emotional, and social well-being of students.

Job Duties:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or social-emotional challenges

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create strategies that support student success

• Conduct risk assessments and crisis interventions as needed

• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 plans, and behavior intervention plans

• Maintain accurate documentation of student interactions, services provided, and progress

• Serve as a liaison between the school, home, and community resources

• Facilitate communication between students and families with school staff to promote engagement and positive outcomes

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

• Active state licensure/certification as required by the state of practice (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, or equivalent)

• Experience in a school setting is preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
