Caseload Information:
- Full Time | 30+ hours a week
- K-12th Grade students with behavior needs
Job Details:
- Develop behavioral plans to support students with behavioral challenges.
- Assist students during crises, such as family issues, trauma, or mental health emergencies.
- Working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and progress.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Providing support and guidance to teachers and staff on strategies to enhance communication skills in the classroom.
- Staying informed about current research and best practices in the field of orientation mobility.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Master’s program in School Social Work from an accredited school.
- Kansas State licensure to practice as a social worker.
- 310 License in KS is a must-have.
- Active membership in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
- Experience preferred working with children in a school setting.
- Previous experience assisting students with behavioral issues.
