Part-Time Summer Social Worker or School Counselor Position – Gages Lake, IL
Blazer Jobs is partnering with the school district in Gages Lake, IL, to hire several part-time, onsite Social Workers or School Counselors for the summer of the current school year. Position Details:

Dates: June 10, 2025 – July 10, 2025 (No school on Fridays)

Summer Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:15 AM – 12:15 PM

First & Last Day Schedule: 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM
Pay Rate: $35 - $40 per hour (based on experience)
Age Groups: All grade levels
Daily Responsibilities:
Provide social-emotional support and crisis intervention for students
Develop and implement individual and group counseling sessions
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions
Assist with behavioral interventions and support plans
State Requirements:
Must have an active Illinois license
Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL)
Candidates who do not meet requirements will not be considered.
Additional Information:
Renewal for the following school year is based on performance and district needs.
