Contract Opportunity - School Social Worker

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and possess an active LCPC or LCSW certification (LMSW will not be accepted). Applicants that do not meet the outlined requirements will not be considered for this role.

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Contracted School Social Worker to join our district in Frederick, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and social support to K-12 students.
• Develop and monitor individualized support plans in collaboration with school personnel and families.
• Address behavioral challenges and facilitate referrals to community services as needed.
• Maintain detailed case management records and comply with district policies.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active LCPC or LCSW certification (LMSW will not be accepted).
• Experience in school-based social work is preferred.
