Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant – Mineral Wells, TX
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered:
Hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Maintain active SLPA licensure through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
Must be supervised by a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist in accordance with state guidelines
Successfully pass a state and federal background check
Provide documentation of current TB test and any required health clearances
Must have previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
Applicants who do not meet the above criteria will not be considered for this role.
Typical Responsibilities
Provide direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
Assist with implementation of individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Support students in developing communication, articulation, and language skills
Record and document student progress and provide feedback to the supervising SLP
Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure student success
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines for service delivery
