Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist – Lawrence, MA

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time position within school districts in the Lawrence, MA area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and reach their full academic potential.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all Massachusetts state and local requirements, including:

  • A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

  • A current and active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred

  • Registration with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), including the appropriate educator licensure for working in a school setting

  • Completion of a clinical fellowship (CFY), if applicable

  • At least one year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school or pediatric setting

Applicants who do not meet the qualifications listed above will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and interpret evaluation results

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress

  • Maintain accurate records of services, evaluations, and progress reports

  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student communication goals
