Texas requires SLPs to hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). A Texas educator certificate in speech therapy may also be needed for school-based roles.
This full-time opportunity for the 2025-2026 school year in Houston provides the chance to support a diverse student population through individualized speech and communication services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop IEP-aligned goals
Deliver speech therapy services and track student outcomes
Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers
Attend IEP and team meetings
Maintain service documentation and reports
