Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-time – 25–26 School Year – Birmingham, AL

To work as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Alabama, candidates must hold a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program, a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or be in the Clinical Fellowship (CF) year, and possess a valid Alabama Board of Examiners license. State background checks and fingerprint clearance are also required.

As an integral part of the education team, you’ll help students develop critical communication skills, foster greater academic success, and make a lasting impact within the school and broader community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.

  • Provide direct therapy services to students across designated grade levels.

  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to support student progress.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
