Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist – Auburn, WA Area
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time role within school districts in the Auburn, WA area. We are looking for dedicated professionals passionate about supporting students' communication development in an educational setting.
Minimum Requirements (State & Local):
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered:
Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Possess a valid and active Washington State Speech Language Pathology license issued by the Washington State Department of Health
Hold an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate with a Speech Language Pathologist endorsement issued by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
Must have verifiable experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school or pediatric setting
Meet all additional local and state employment requirements, including:
Completion of a Washington State Patrol and FBI background check
Valid authorization to work in the United States
Compliance with district-specific onboarding procedures
Current immunization and health records if required by the district
Typical Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Document student performance and prepare progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and ongoing evaluations
