Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist Job

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Anaheim, CA. This exciting opportunity allows you to work in a supportive school environment with students in need of speech and language therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students based on their needs.
• Provide direct and consultative services to students, staff, and families.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to provide the best support for students.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and develop goals that align with students' educational objectives.
• Monitor and track students’ progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Work with students who may have special education needs, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records for all students under your care.
• Educate and advise families on how to support speech and language development at home.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California, meeting all state and local regulations.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a school setting.
