We are seeking a skilled and certified Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality sight translation services for a role school district near Fort Smith, AR for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year with weekly, take home pay of $1300 equivalent to about $48.50 an hour!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sight Translation: Provide accurate on-the-spot oral translations of written documents.
  • Interpretation Services: Facilitate real-time communication during meetings, appointments, or events.
  • Confidentiality & Professionalism: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Cultural Competency: Ensure interpretations reflect cultural context alongside language.
  • Accuracy & Clarity: Translate complex texts with high precision.
  • Client Support: Clarify and support clients when language barriers arise.
  • Preparation & Research: Familiarize with terminology and subject matter before assignments.

Qualifications:
  • Certification in Interpretation: Certification or equivalent qualifications in interpretation, with a focus on sight language translation.
  • Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in [Source Language] and [Target Language].
  • Knowledge of Terminology: Proficiency in relevant terminology, especially in specialized fields like legal, medical, or technical translations.
