Schedule: Full-Time | 35 hours/week
Caseload: 1:1 Elementary Student
Pay: Competitive, Based on Experience

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a qualified School Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to support an elementary-aged student in Gardner, KS for the 2025 school year.

Position Details:

• Full-time, 35 hours per week

• 1:1 assignment with a student in an elementary setting

• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to ensure optimal support

• Interpret classroom instruction, peer interactions, and school activities to support the student’s communication needs

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid ASL Interpreter registration

• Must have scored a 3.5 or higher on the EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment)

• Experience working with elementary students preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to adapt interpreting style to meet student’s individual needs
