We are seeking an experienced and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team and support students from preschool through high school in overcoming social, emotional, and academic challenges.

    Position Overview: The School Psychologist will work closely with students, staff, and families to assess and support students’ mental health, behavior, and academic progress. This role involves conducting assessments, providing individual and group counseling, and collaborating with educators and parents to create a safe and effective learning environment for students.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

    Provide individual and group counseling to students with a variety of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and learning disabilities.

    Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans.

    Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations.

    Help develop and implement school-wide programs for mental health awareness and support.

    Consult with educators and staff on strategies to improve student learning and behavior.

    Maintain confidential records and provide written reports on assessments and progress.

    Provide training and professional development to staff on psychological topics, such as trauma-informed practices, mental health awareness, and effective student behavior strategies.

    Qualifications:

    Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.

    State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.

    2+ years of experience working in a school setting (preferred).

    Strong understanding of child development, mental health, and educational psychology.

    Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting test results.

    Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines pertaining to school psychology.
