Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to support the health and wellness of students in a school setting in Valrico, FL. This is a full-time role focused on general health room duties, including daily student care, medication administration, and medical emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and routine health care to students and staff

• Administer medications and monitor chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and seizures

• Maintain accurate health records in accordance with state and district guidelines

• Communicate with parents, healthcare providers, and school personnel as needed

• Promote a healthy and safe school environment

• Support school health policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Active Florida RN license

• BSN required

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Experience in pediatrics, public health, or school nursing is a plus

• Strong communication and record-keeping skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school team
