School-Based Registered Nurse (RN)

Blazer Jobs is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide essential health services in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will support students' medical needs, promote health education, and ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications and treatments.
  • Assess and monitor student health concerns, including chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and severe allergies.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate student health records.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to develop care plans.
  • Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics and preventative care.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations and school policies.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage student health needs and respond to emergencies.
