Summer School RN Opportunity Support Students & Lead Health Services | near Gilroy, CA

Join a dedicated educational team in Hollister, just 25 minutes from Gilroy, as a Summer School Registered Nurse (RN) and make a direct impact on student health and safety during the summer session. This is a great opportunity to work in a leadership capacity while maintaining a part-time summer schedule.

Position Details:

• Location: Hollister, CA (Onsite Only) (25 minute drive from Gilroy, CA)

• Dates: June 9 – July 11 (No school on June 19 or July 4)

• Hours: 8:15 AM – 12:45 PM, Monday–Friday

• Hourly Rate: $48+

• Caseload: General student population, with responsibilities including special education evaluations and staff oversight

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide follow-up for students with known or suspected health issues

• Consult with staff regarding specific student health concerns and care plans

• Conduct health and developmental evaluations for students referred to special education services

• Supervise and support health staff including CNAs and LPNs

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License

• School Nurse Services Credential (California)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in school nursing, public health nursing, or a related field

• Two years of experience as a school nurse preferred
