Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) Job Opening

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing qualified and passionate Physical Therapists for a part-time, school-based contract position in Chalmette, Louisiana for the upcoming school year. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school district and make a direct impact in students' lives.

Position Requirements:
Active Louisiana Physical Therapist license
Must meet all state and local regulatory requirements for school-based services
Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Job Duties May Include:
Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
Providing direct therapy services to students with physical disabilities or motor challenges
Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
Maintaining accurate documentation of services provided and progress made
Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to goal planning

Position Details:
Part-time hours
School-based setting
Contract position for the 2025-2026 school year
Possibility of renewal based on performance and district needs
