Full-Time Paraprofessional (PARA) / Teacher Assistant (TA) – Immediate Hire

Location: New Cumberland, PA

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional / Teacher Assistant to support 4th-8th grade students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities and English language learners.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time (up to 40 hours per week)

• Pay: $15 - $25 per hour (based on experience)

• Caseload: Intermediate (4th - 8th grade)

• School Year: Current

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students

• Assist in lesson implementation, classroom activities, and behavior management

• Work alongside teachers and specialists to promote student success

• Support students' behavioral and social-emotional development

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Paraprofessional Certificate preferred (not required)

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional is a plus

• Must complete Pennsylvania credentialing requirements (background check, fingerprinting, TB test, physical, etc.)
