Job Overview
Blazer Works is seeking a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time school-based position in San Jose, CA. This district-wide role will serve students across K–12th grade at multiple school sites. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility and passion to work with students of all ages, helping them build the functional, motor, and academic skills needed to succeed in school and beyond.
Position Details
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Assignment Dates: ASAP – June 12th
Caseload: K–12th grade students
Setting: District-wide (multiple school sites)
Responsibilities: Evaluations, IEP development, motor skill development, sensory integration
Key Responsibilities
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine therapy needs
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide direct therapy services focusing on fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills
Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress across all grade levels
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Qualifications
Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California (required)
Previous experience working across multiple grade levels preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
