We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Occupational Therapist to join a supportive school district in the charming town of Andover, Massachusetts, for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year, with the possibility of extending through the Extended School Year (ESY) in the summer of 2025!

Nestled in the picturesque Merrimack Valley, Andover offers a delightful blend of historic New England charm and modern amenities. Your Impact:

As a valued member of the special education team, you will play a crucial role in supporting students from 1st through 12th grade with mild to moderate disabilities. Your expertise will help them develop the skills they need to participate fully in their educational journey. While the primary focus will be on high school students, you will also have the opportunity to work with elementary-aged children, providing a diverse and engaging caseload.

Your Week at a Glance:

  • Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Dates: ASAP Start through June 18, 2025, with potential for ESY 2025 (dates to be determined).
  • Caseload: Primarily high school students, with some elementary students, ranging in age from 1st to 12th grade.
  • Disabilities: Mild to moderate.

What You'll Bring:

  • A current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Massachusetts is essential.
  • A passion for working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and implementation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with educators, parents, and support staff.
  • A commitment to fostering independence and maximizing student potential.
