Traveling COTA – High School (9–12) School-Based Positions Nationwide | Full-Time Opportunities
Blazer Works is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) for full-time, traveling school-based placements at the high school level (grades 9–12) across several states, including immediate openings in New York, California, Texas, and Wisconsin. This is a wonderful opportunity for COTAs to help high school students build essential motor, sensory, and coordination skills as they prepare for post-secondary education or career readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in evaluating students’ fine motor, coordination, and sensory needs for grades 9–12
Implement therapy plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist, aligned with IEP goals
Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to the high school age group
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ academic and functional progress
Maintain accurate documentation and actively participate in IEP meetings and planning
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid COTA certification
Active or pending licensure in the relevant state
Must clear background checks
Preferred: Experience working with high school-aged students or in educational settings
Compensation & Benefits:
Weekly pay starting at $2,000+
