Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) Job

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a full-time school-based contract opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana for the upcoming school year. This is an exciting opportunity to support students' academic, functional, and social-emotional growth in a collaborative school environment.

Position Requirements:
Valid Indiana Occupational Therapist license

Must meet all state and district regulations for school-based practice

Strongly preferred: Experience with special education students and families

Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Typical Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ fine motor, visual-motor, and sensory processing needs

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet IEP goals

Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classroom, therapy, and community-based settings

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success

Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and compliance documentation

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations

Provide training and support to school personnel to implement classroom strategies
