Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT)
Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Available


Job Description:
Join our dedicated and supportive educational team as a School Occupational Therapist! We're looking for a compassionate and skilled professional to help students succeed by promoting independence and enhancing their ability to participate fully in school activities. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to deliver impactful services that support student growth and development.


Position Details:

  • Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week) and Part-Time options available

  • Setting: Onsite only

  • Caseload: Varied; to be discussed during the interview based on experience and availability

  • Start Date: August 2025 - May 2026


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills within the educational setting

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students across various grade levels

  • Document services, progress notes, and reports in accordance with district and compliance guidelines

  • Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and staff regarding student progress and needs

  • Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development opportunities


Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

  • Active State Occupational Therapy License

  • NBCOT Certification preferred

  • Previous experience working with school-aged children or in a school setting is strongly preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative educational team
