Blazer Works is currently hiring a dedicated Middle School Occupational Therapist for the current and 2025–2026 school year. This is a school-based position with a consistent schedule and a strong support system, focused on helping students in grades 6–8 succeed in both their academic and personal development.

We partner with school districts to provide high-quality therapy services that empower students to overcome challenges and participate fully in their education. If you are passionate about supporting students during a key stage of growth and independence, we’d love to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess middle school students' fine motor skills, executive functioning, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living abilities.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address IEP goals and collaborate with educators, parents, and other related service providers.

  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions to promote independence, academic performance, and classroom participation.

  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into the educational setting.

  • Monitor and document student progress, make data-informed adjustments to plans, and participate in IEP meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.

  • Active or pending Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.

  • Experience working with middle school-aged students in educational or clinical settings is preferred.

  • Must be able to pass a background check.
