School Occupational Therapist Full Time Position

Full-Time Occupational Therapist – Boston, MA Area

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time role with school districts in the Boston, MA area. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to work within an educational setting and make a positive impact on students' development.

Minimum Requirements (State & Local):

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

• Possess an active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license

• Hold NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)

• Have experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school or clinical setting

• Meet all additional local and state requirements, including:

• Fingerprint and background check clearance

• Current TB test and health screening

• Authorization to work in the United States

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address sensory, motor, and cognitive challenges

• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress

• Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy services provided

• Provide consultative support to school staff regarding occupational therapy strategies
