Educational Diagnostician – High School | 2025–2026 School Year
Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Type: Full-Time (37.5–40 hours per week)
Caseload: Grades 9–12 (specific details to be discussed during interview)
Setting: In-person, supportive high school environment

Blazer Works is partnering with a reputable school district in Atlanta, Georgia to hire a dedicated Educational Diagnostician focused on supporting high school students for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a valuable opportunity to help students navigate key academic transitions and prepare for graduation, college, or careers.

The position may be extended based on district needs and performance.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct formal educational assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services.

  • Provide detailed analysis of assessment data to support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to tailor support strategies for students in grades 9–12.

  • Assist in guiding students with learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral needs, and other exceptionalities through critical academic milestones.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education laws and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Valid Educational Diagnostician license in Georgia.

  • High school experience preferred.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
