Blazer Works is actively hiring a knowledgeable and committed Educational Diagnostician to serve high school students in Atlanta, Georgia for the 2025–2026 academic year. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting students through evaluations, program planning, and transition support as they prepare for graduation and life beyond high school.
This role offers the potential for renewal depending on performance and district needs.
Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services.
Analyze data and contribute to the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with academic and transitional goals.
Work closely with high school staff, students, and families to develop and implement tailored strategies for academic success.
Support students with learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral challenges, and other exceptionalities.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while staying current on best practices in special education.
Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, Psychology, or a related field.
Valid Educational Diagnostician license/certification in Georgia.
Experience working with high school students preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and data interpretation skills.
