Join Our Team: Educational Diagnostician Odessa, TX

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Educational Diagnostician to join our school-based team in Odessa, TX for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time, onsite position will support a diverse K-12 student population by conducting evaluations and working collaboratively with educators and families to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services

• Administer and interpret standardized assessments, cognitive tests, and academic achievement measures

• Develop detailed evaluation reports and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to interpret data and support instructional planning

• Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide consultation services to teachers and school staff on instructional strategies and accommodations

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

• Stay informed about current best practices, research, and developments in special education evaluation

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, or related field

• Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification

• Experience with K-12 student populations, including diverse learning needs

• Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized assessments

• Strong understanding of IDEA and Texas state regulations related to special education

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
