As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join us for the 2024-2025 school year.
Overview:
The BCBA will play a crucial role in developing and implementing individualized behavioral interventions for students with special needs. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create a supportive learning environment. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and providing training and support to staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Intervention: Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors. Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that are data-driven and tailored to each student’s needs.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to ensure consistent implementation of BIPs across all settings. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP discussions to provide insights and recommendations.
Data Monitoring: Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Regularly review and adjust BIPs based on student progress and changing needs, ensuring interventions are evidence-based and effective.
Training and Support: Provide professional development and training for teachers and support staff on best practices in behavior management, including positive behavior support strategies and data collection methods.
Family Engagement: Engage with families to discuss behavioral strategies, provide resources, and ensure that interventions are supported at home. Foster positive relationships with families to encourage their involvement in the educational process.
Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of applied behavior analysis. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Certification: Must hold a current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Education: Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
Experience: Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with students with behavioral challenges, is highly preferred but NOT required
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
